Not much happened on Shabbos. They had cholent at shul. I didn't feel like talking to anyone. I didn't go back for mincha/maariv. I stayed in - read my Dune books. I actually bought Machine Crusade for $30 as if I'm made out of money. Then I got G-d Emporer of Dune in the mail so I'm trying to read both at once. Yeah you can tell that Frank is the better writer but Machine Crusade is good for what it is. I'm excited to read them both even though it derails all my other reading (MUST READ EVERY BOOK before next year when I don't think I'll take many of these books with me - nor will I have the time - wait a minute - I'm going to school for Creative Writing - I better make the time)
Now that I know that I got into one college (LIU on that probationary status - when your last choice is only letting you in for a semester to make sure you can maintain a B average, you can pretty much forget about Columbia - I forgot that my grades sucked so much - well on average - those last two years of Hebrew really killed the GPA)
There's a party in St. Paul posted on the Twin Cities community. Eviction party. Should go. It will feel good to help folks piss off one landlord. Of course I'm contradictory as my friend Avi complained about how his tenants were taking advantage of him and I immediately gave him Steve Schachtman's address. Yes I still hate the fucker but if I owned a building I'd probably want him to manage it. Just like if I was ever in trouble with the law I'd want to retain Roy Cohn no matter what shit he did in the 50s with the blacklists (well not now - he's dead - but if I was suddenly stuck in a bad time distortion field and got accused of being the Son of Sam)

laughsatnerds whose sole purpose was to irritate people until he got kicked off of livejournal. Just because he posted a couple of swipes at me and it seemed his style. Then again plenty of people hate me on livejournal so maybe not. Although I am just a little suspicious that weirdjews didn't get this crap. Maybe they banned him faster. It really doesn't sound like anything the people on there would do. The ones that don't like me are more overly sensitive than juvenile.
Tomorrow I meet with the Primerica guy again. I'm just going to say that I don't know if I need debt consolidation or life insurance but I definitely want a Roth IRA. I will also remind him that I'm going to grad school next year so taking money out of my checking account will be a bad idea if it's too much.
