Law and Order
Jun. 1st, 2006 02:49 pmOk, so now I find out that they killed off another character on Law & Order. Brutally, no less. Geez. You know that's the problem with the show being on TNT. I watch the old reruns so much that I don't even bother to keep up with the new episodes. And when I do it's something stupid like the Michael Imperioli (where they got the real killer to confess by staging a show with her son holding a gun to his head - and the time it took her to confess, you would think that she would notice that no one had opened up on the kid and painted the walls with his brains) so I don't usually watch new episodes.
So the last episode of last season had Jack McCoy acting like a nutcase and a dead ADA. Darn. Looked like a cool episode - at least from what I see in the recaps. Oh well.

Ok. I'm just thinking about the fossils of social interaction. Or things that I think are fossils.
- "Why do women go for jerks and not NICE GUYS?"
- "You would if you loved me" (actually did anyone really use that line? Or was it so old by the time they mentioned it in 8th grade health class that no one could really do it with a straight face.
- Referring to Asian women as "exotic"
- "Punk" used as a shorthand for "drug addict psycho killer"
- Anything new or original in the James Bond series (the movie coming up notwithstanding)
- One liners as a standard in Action Movies (Shut Up Ah-Nold! You killed the guy! We know you're a badass)
- Feathered Hair
- MTV
- Lorena Bobbit Jokes
