Television
Aug. 23rd, 2006 01:34 pmYou know when a character says that she has the evidence to change everything and make everything right - how soon do you think it is before they kill her off. Probably should have killed her off in the first ten minutes, but they let her go and call the cops as if she DIDN'T just survive season 1.
And then on Law & Order, that stupid ADA goes and opens up the door without checking first. Who does that? Especially at midnight in New York? Was she ordering out? Did she have a male prostitute coming over? I know that they wanted to kill her, but that was ridiculous.
Yes, I've been unemployed for a week now. Ok, I worked on Monday. But that was a one day job. So it's television. If I started talking about The View or Ellen, I will be very worried. I'm really supposed to be using this time to write since I've gone back to the nanowrimo attempt (sorry) and the 10,000 words written are clumsy and horrible, but the storyline is pretty good. I stopped writing that one because I figured out a major plot development which would have taken the characters into a mutual attempt at INFLUENCE and how stupid we all act when we're trying to purposefully influence others. And that was way too much for a month-long 50K thing. So now I'm writing and finding out that I put a lot more into it and I'm still days away from when I have to write new material. I should be doing that.
Oh and I did watch Snakes on a Plane. Not bad. Not great. But not bad either.
