I feel retarded for leaving the television on after Heroes, because I really don't want to be watching Studio 60 on the West Wing Strip. I thought they'd ease up on this "should we cut the sketch and what great lesson can we learn THIS episode" crap after awhile, but it's getting worse. Especially when the major B-plot was D.L. Hughley taking Perry to a black club and being bitterly disappointed by a black comedian telling all the same old Black People aren't White People jokes, only to find a really unfunny comedian and hiring him because they see potential. I feel like Martin Sheen just made a great stride in racial unity because it's the same show.
I really wish I could say that I liked the weird way that Studio 60 takes itself as seriously as The West Wing with everyone on the show acting like their every decision is an earthshattering event, but I don't think I do. There's a strange car wreck fascination instead.
