Still broke

Damn it. I keep calling my balance waiting for the day when the automated voice says 4 thousand and something instead of NEGATIVE whatever. Fucking local bank. You know I'm thinking of all the things I could have done like open up a Washington Mutual account when I got that check and completely ignoring TCF. Or not doing a damn thing at the end of last week so I wouldn't have spent all that money that was going to end up in the account at any moment. But now it's just out there. Maybe it's on a pile of envelopes to open and some temp with a bad attitude is doing something else. Maybe it's in the trash. Maybe it's cashed and the beginning of a great vacation. Either way it's not in my bank account.
However, it does look like I still qualify for unemployment. I am looking for work. Apparently I don't have to live in Minnesota because it's my money that funded it in the first place.
But that will only really help if I get that $4600 in the bank. If that's not in the bank I'm just screwed all over the place - not the least of which being paying my rent.
