You know what I want in regards to Gaza - a prosperous happy Gaza full of hipster bars, shitty coffeehouses, movie theaters, rude waiters, the best schools in the Middle East, macrobiotic food places, power plants, carnivals, amusement parks, tallest buildings in the world, a department of tourism and a reputation as "the Paris/London/Los Angeles" of the Middle East. I want it to be the place that people can go and enjoy themselves and where everyone is rich or at least has more opportunities and where the biggest news story is some drunk driver crashing his car into the local police station and exposing himself to the arresting officer. I think that this is a vision Zionists, anti-Zionists and everyone in between can support (except for those morons on the fringes who still think that it is both beneficial and viable to "run the ______ into the sea"). The debate is over how to achieve it. I really don't think that Hamas is part of the solution.
It's probably not the last thing I'm going to say on the matter, but it's probably the most basic standard.
